Bali day tour 2

Today I got picket up a little bit earlier (not as much traffic) and we started our day by visiting Taman Ayun Temple. This is on the UNESCO heritage list so it’s protected and preserved by UNESCO which means it’s super clean and well taken care of. It’s a large and very beautiful temple with small lakes surrounding.

After that we took off to Beratan Lake temple. This is actually in the lake and woooowwww it was to die for. Such a nice area to walk around in and just absorb the beautiful views. What’s so special about this is that there are temples for hindu, buddhists and a mosque for muslims. So 3 different religions in one area.

Jatiluwih rice terraces was the third stop. These are Bali’s largest rice terraces and the area was huge!!! I took a short stroll but then it started raining and I could hear the thunder, got a bit scared haha, so I went back… But I enjoyed it a lot even though it rained =) Barely any tourists which made it even nicer hihi.

Our last stop was Tanah Lot Temple. This is in the ocean and it’s another big area with a couple of temples. Now this place was full of tourists but quite okay anyway since it was the only one of all my stops so far that I’ve seen that many. A little spoiled now during low season =) Tanah Lot was not as impressive as the other ones but nice to have seen it as it was on my list 🙂

We got back to the hotel around 4pm (16.00) so I just showered, went out for dinner at Batik again, had a look in the shops in Seminyak Square area and then back around 8 pm. Ohhhh I almost forgot. I’ve complained to the reception 3 times about the people staying in the rooms surround mine. They have been so loud that my earplugs didn’t even help. I woke up at 3am yesterday night, wanted to kill them! So when I got back from the tour today I asked to change room and they gave me a new one but also upgraded me to a deluxe room. Super service!!! I hope I can sleep tonight.

Tomorrow is also 4 stops and then I’m going out for dinner and some shopping. Leaving Bali on Wednesday morning for Gili Trawangan.

Talk to you tomorrow =D
