From north to south

It was now time to leave Northland for Southland which also means magical nature. We got the Interislander ferry from Wellington terminal and it took us about 3 hours to get to Picton where the terminal is in Southland. The boat ride was very calm (lucky me! (seasick)) and we passed through Marlborough sounds which were absolutely stunning. I tried to get at the top deck to enjoy the views and of course get some nice photos but it was raining and just way too cold. I enjoyed it all from downstairs instead, sitting in the warmer environment =) When we got to Picton we got on the bus and continued to Kaiteriteri.
