Beachy days

I’ve had amazing days by the beach this week! I went to Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast on Wednesday and Broadbeach on the Gold Coast on Thursday.

I heard so many good things about Mooloolaba and was expecting a wow moment when I got there but nope. I was disappointed… Well, it’s a nice beach of course but not as nice as I thought it would be. I definitely prefer Noosa or the Gold Coast. Anyway, I had a lovely day with my friend Patrik. We got there around 10.30 am and left around 4 pm. Full day by the beach, I don’t complain 😛 The waves were strong and high and we spent so much time in the water just having fun. Patrik probably had more fun laughing at me almost drowning with every wave. All in all, I’m probably not going back to Mooloolaba. I didn’t find the journey worth it. I prefer the Gold Coast.

I went to Broadbeach by myself and I loved it. It was so beautiful and quite empty with people. It was honestly just perfect. I’m definitely going back there. The waves were even stronger here and the water was so cooling and refreshing. Thursday was a very, very hot day. I left around 3pm because I got hungry and that’s probably one downside with Broadbeach, there was only the surf club with food. I don’t really like the surf clubs because they’re too expensive and the food is not the best. I need to bring my picknick with me next time so I don’t need to leave too early =) I could stay all day by the beach. I love it so much.

I’m hoping to go on Sunday again =) But I’m invited to Roz’s Christmas Party at 5.30 pm so I need to be home at 4.30 and it’s a 2 hour travel time to the Gold Coast. Another option is my pool, which is not bad at all.

Did I mention how happy I am that summer is finally here? ❤
